As Wimbledon is still going on, renewed tennis rankings will be released next week. Some Georgian tennis players will play this week.

Sofia Shapatava will participate in the Versmold tournament (Germany, 50 000 USD). Shapatava will play in the main draw of “Reinert Open 2013” and her opponent will be known soon.

Last year Maka Chakhnashvili competed in this tournament. In the first round she lost to Maria Irigoyen of Argentina 6:4, 3:6, 3:6. Now Maka is in Poland and will play at the Torun tournament (25 000 USD).

Georgian man top seed Nikoloz Basilashvili is in Turkey and will participate in the Kayseri tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD).
