Georgian tennis player Sofia Shapatava is in Japan and will start participation in the Osaka international tournament (235 000 USD) tomorrow morning.

In the first round Shapatava will face Qiang Wang of China. In case of victory, Sofia will play either No.3 seed Barbora Zahlavova Strycova of Czech Republic or Makoto Ninomiya of Japan. If Sofia overcomes the first round of the qualifying draw, she will earn 6 ranking points.

Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili will visit Macon, Georgia, next week. Prize money of the American tournament is 25 000 USD. Of course, Tatishvili will be among the seeded players.
