International tournament started in Moscow (Russia, 25 000 USD). Sopo Shapatava is No.5 seed in this tournament and in the first circle she will face Turkish Melis Sezer.

In the doubles tournament, the duet of Shapatava and Ukrainian Anastasia Vasileva lost to Estonian-Russian tandem (Kontaveit – Leikina) 2:6, 6:3, 9:11.

Ekaterine Gorgodze and Sopo Kvatsabaia started Antalya tournament (prize fund 10 000 USD) successfully. Gorgodze (No.2 seed) overcame Turkish Esen Kokche 6:1, 6:0 and Kvatsabaia won over Bulgarian Yulia Stamatova 6:4, 6:4.

In 1/8 final Georgians will face Chinese players. Gorgodze will compete with Xiaoron Dong and Kvatsabaia – Zhaoxuan Yang.

In doubles, Kvatsabaia and Austrian Pia Kionig overcame Americans – Malika Rose and Siana Simons 6:1, 6:2.
