Alexander Iatskevich and Yana Dmitrieva, instructors of European Judo Union, are in Georgia by the invitation of the Georgian Judo Federation. In Kvareli they held a seminar on “Judo lessons at school”. The teachers who will give judo lessons at schools attended the seminar.

The Georgian Judo Federation held the second seminar. The first seminar took place in Kvareli in summer. The Georgian Judo Federation joined the memorandum of the European Judo Union which includes teaching judo at schools.

After the first seminar the judo lessons have already been given at the Kvareli schools.

The Kvareli Municipality bought tatami for the public schools. The Georgian Judo Federation published special books and made video lessons. Next year the judo lessons will be given at 13 schools of Kvareli.
