The Georgian water polo team started European Championship with a failure. The tournament is under way in the capital of Hungary, Budapest.
The Georgian water polo players were beating Romania 4:3 after the first 8 minutes. However, in the last periods the Georgians scored only 2 goals and lost 6:11.
Marko Jelaca scored the most three goals from the Georgian team. Damir Tsrepulia, Marko Elez and Giorgi Khvedeliani also scored goals.
In Group A Montenegro defeated Greece 11:6. On July 14 Georgia will face Greece at 13:30.
In the last match of Group A Italy won over Russia 13:6.
