The Georgian national basketball team defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina in a friendly game in Jesenice, Slovenia. After losing in Celje (63:68), the Georgian basketball players took revenge and won over the Bosnians 81:78.

Injured Manuchar Markoishvili could not help the Georgian national team. In the second quarter naturalized Ricky Hickman hurt his foot and could not continue playing. Hickman played for 13 minutes and earned 10 points.

Otar Pkhakadze, Beso Lezhava and Duda Sanadze brought important points to our team.

The fate of the game was decided at the last seconds. The Georgians were losing with one point when Viktor Sanikidze advanced his team with one point. Beso Lezhava scored free throws and the Georgians won.

Today the Georgian national team will go back to Ljubljana. Tomorrow morning the Georgians will arrive in Antibes where they will participate in international tournament with Serbia and France on 16-17 August.
