Viktor Sanikidze and Giorgi Shermadini hold the next resulting match in the lines of “Zaragoza”, but this time their good play was not enough for the club’s success.
Apprentices of Jose Luis Abos visited “Telekom” Bonn and in fact, during the whole match they were ahead, but they lost 104:108.
Both of the Georgian basketball players were in the starting five and spent almost identical time in the match. Sanikidze gained 16 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in 26:45 minutes.
Viktor score 2 2-pointers of 6, 3 3-pointers of 7, 3 free throws of 4 and got 2 personal fouls.
Shermadini also played well. In 26:32 minutes, he gained 15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block-shot. He scored 5 2-pointers of 9 and 5 free throws of 6, had 3 turnovers.
“Zaragoza” lost twice in three matches and occupied 4th place in D group of EuroCup. Spanish club will have next match on November 6 and will host Italian “Virtus Roma”.
