Georgian freestyle wrestlers ended the Khasavyurt Intercontinental Cup with 3 medals. Beka Bujiashvili (55kg) won the gold medal, Levan Kelekhsashvili (66kg) – silver and on the 2nd day of the tournament Giorgi Sakandelidze (120kg) added gold medal.
The Georgian heavyweight overcame Azamat Kishiev of Russia and Aslan Dzebisov of Azerbaijan. In the decisive meeting he won over Aslanbek Alyev of Dagestan.
Murtaz Kvesadze, Amiran Kazarashvili (both 60kg), Giorgi Sanodze, Davit Tlashadze, Jumber Kvelashvili (all 74kg) and Zurab Akhobadze (96kg) took their participation on the 2nd day of the tournament. Akhobadze reached mostly the prize three – he lost in the final of repechage and took the 5th place.
