We expected better playing from "Baia". Though, in the match against "Olimpi", "Baia" did not look like that team which is fighting to take a place among leaders. Only several shots of Megreladze and Grigol Bediashvili needed to dive only once - that is all. "Baia" did not have another chance. From the guests Luka Guguchia (disqualification) and goalkeeper Gogita Somkhishvili (injury) did not play among the guests. Temur Makharadze, head coach of "Olimpi", made the right substitution...
At the 7th minute, host Giorgi Beriashvili assisted to Irakli Modebadze but his ball touched goalkeeper. The match was uninteresting. There were two episodes in the first half and both of them were before the break. Bediashvili caught the ball shot by Megreladze. Then defender Akelsandre Kvakhadze ("Olimpi") shot the ball and it missed the goal.
At the 53rd minute, Temur Gongadze, right defender of "Olimpi", fell down on the penalty area of the opponent. Gongadze played cleverly - he touched the foot of Aleko Gogoberishvili, defender of "Baia", and referee Lasha Silagava awarded penalty. Luka Razmadze took it and scored - 1:0. "Baia" was protesting decision of Silagava. We cannot say that the penalty should have been awarded but as a rule, referee decides how to estimate an offence.
We expected that "Baia" would have played more actively but "Olimpi" did not let them do it. Neither substitutions helped "Baia". At the 65th minute "Olimpi" had a chance to score a goal. Gongadze did not shoot the ball and assisted it to Chelidze. Then Chelidze assisted it to Revaz Getsadze who shot the ball but it touched defender.
Now about substitution made by Makharadze: He substituted forward Beriashvili by a 17-year-old midfielder Vako Kazaishvili. "Olimpi" played last 25 minutes without a good forward but they scored the second goal. Suddenly Kazaishvili shot the ball, the goalkeeper did not expect it and 2:0.
This is the first goal of Kazaishvili in Supreme League. This player played well in the first rounds of doubles championship. Makharadze let him play in "Baia" and Vako strengthened his advantage with a beautiful goal. "Olimpi" is still a leader.
