Teams which lost ¼ finals at Georgian Cup have a chance to take revenge at the championship. On April 9, 4 matches of Georgian 23rd Championship will be held at three stadiums. The first match will take place at „Avchala“ stadium at 14:00. „Lelo“ Tbilisi, last year’s finalist and winner of Georgian Cup, will play against „Armazi“. These teams will hold match against each other for the first time this year. „Armazi“ refused to participate in Cup this year and „Lelo“ won a right to play in semifinal. In the first round of last championship, these teams played against each other and „Lelo“ won 34:12. In the second round, „Lelo“ had advantage again – 44:13.

After the end of this match, „Lokomotive“ and „Army“ will hold match at „Avchala“ stadium. „Army“ beat „Lokomotive“ at Cup. The team scored the only try at the end of the half and won it 11:6. In spite of advantage of „Lokomotive“, the team used only penalty in the second half and lost the match 9:11.

The match between „Kochebi“ and „Academy“ will start at „Shevardeni“ base at 16:00. Last week, these teams played against each other in ¼ final of Cup and the match finished 9:9. „Academy“ won the first half 9:3 but it could not manage to keep advantage and was scored 2 penalties. As „Kochebi“ had better rating than its opponent, „Kochebi“ went through the semifinal and now „Academy“ has a chance to take revenge.

One match will be held in Poti and „Aia“ Kutaisi will play against „Kharebi“ Rustavi. Unfortunately, „Aia“ does not have a stadium in its own city and the team hold home matches in Vani and Poti. Last week, „Aia“ hosted „Kharebi“ in Vani and beat it 50:0. Now, the team will try to achieve success in Poti.
