Resting today, resuming tomorrow

Preliminary round of the ongoing FIBA World Championship has come to an end. Starting tomorrow, the games of 1/8 finals will be played. These games will include very interesting fixtures.

The winner of Group A Serbian national team was awaiting relatively easy opponent in the round of sixteen however it will have to battle against a solid Croatian side. The winner of this fixture will have to compete against the winner of the other fixture of the round which includes Greece and Spain. It should be obvious that these four teams make up a strong group of the eliminating stage.

Another encounter that should bring our attention expected to be between the hosts Turkey and France while South America rivals Argentina and Brazil will decide the best between the two.

Team USA is one of a three teams that did not lose during the group stage; other two teams are Turkey and Lithuania. Americans will face relatively poor team Angola.
