In different regions of Georgia you will find a lot of stadiums which are in poor conditions. Either field is not good enough, or tribunes and dressing rooms. Or none of them.

There are about 80 bases and fields which need repairing. For example, the field is good but white lines are not drawn. There is sawdust and you must guess if it if out or not, if it is corner or not…  

Who knows how many talented children are in Kakheti but where they can practice football when nothing works there? What is the fault of the child if he is crazy about football and was born in the village?

Giorgi Kvilitaia practiced football in Abasha and told “World Sport” he arrived in Tbilisi late. This talented football player often suffers from injuries and the reason is very simple, he did not have conditions.

The number of little football players have decreased. Perhaps, reconstruction of these bases and fields is a way out? How many children will practice football in the regions, how many will give up bad habits, how many will have a goal in their life.

The Turkish soap operas will not be their only entertainment… Today in the regions children know who Savas Baldar is but they know only Messi and Ronaldo from the football players.

There is no interest toward football.

It would be good if the government will spend money for repairing these fields and bases.
