In the last round of Eurocup, “Zaragoza” of Giorgi Shermadini and Viktor Sanikidze took revenge over “Gravelines” of France – 86:73.

It is worth mentioning that “Zaragoza” won the first quarter 34:15 but at the end of the third one the hosts got in trouble.

At the beginning of the last quarter Sanikidze earned 5 points in a row. “Zaragoza” won the quarter 18:6 which brought the club to final victory.

The both Georgian basketball players were in lineup. Viktor earned 9 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 16:39 minutes. The Georgian forward scored 1 from 2 2 points, 2 from 4 3 points and 1 from 2 free throws. He had one turnover, received 2 personal fouls and one foul was committed against him.

Shermadini gained 4 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal in 12:00 minutes. Giorgi scored 1 from 2 2 points and both two free throws. He committed 2 fouls and one foul was committed against him.

“Zaragoza” has 6 wins and 4 losses in Group D and shared the second-third places with “Gravelines”. “Alba” Berlin took the first place with 8 wins.

The second group stage of Eurocup will start on January 7. 32 teams will participate in it.
