Georgian tennis player Maka Chakhnashvili-Ranzinger celebrated the first victory in the Dijon tournament (France, 15 000 USD).

Maka defeated Kinnie Laisne of France 6:0, 7:6 (9:7). In 1/8 final the Georgian will face Ekaterina Yashina of Russia.

Sofia Kvatsabaia beat No.1 seed Yuliya Kalabina of Russia 6:2, 6:1 at the Antalya tournament (10 000 USD). Unfortunately, Ekaterine Gorgodze lost to Linda Prenkovic of Germany 6:7 (3:7), 0:6.

In doubles the Georgian tennis players won over Prenkovic and Fujioka of Japan 6:1, 3:6, 10:8. In ¼ final they will play the Russian tandem.

Aleksandre Metreveli and Giorgi Javakhishvili overcame the first round of the Shymkent tournament (Kazakhstan, 10 000 USD). Metreveli defeated Pavel Filin of Belarus 6:1, 7:6 (7:3). Javakhishvili beat Fedor Chervyakov of Russia 5:7, 6:2, 6:4.

In 1/8 final Metreveli will face No.5 Denis Yevseyev of Kazakhstan and Javakhishvili – No.7 seed Alexander Lazov of Belarus. In doubles Metreveli and Yevseyev lost to the Kazakh-Uzbek duet 5:7, 5:7.
