“Zaragoza” of Giorgi Shermadini and Viktor Sanikidze celebrated the 5th victory in the 8th round of Euro Cup, which was a great merit of Georgians.
Aragon club hosted “Telekom” Bonn and lost the first quarted 10:20, however finally they defeated German club 71:60.
Sanikidze was the only one, among both teams, who managed to score double-double. Viktor spent 30:12 minutes on the arena and gained 10 points, 12 rebounds and 1 block-shot.
Georgian forward scored 3 two-pointers of 4, 1 three-pointers of 3, 1 free throw of 2, had 5 turnovers and got 1 personal foul.
As for Shermadini, he gained 14 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assist and 1 block-shot in 21:39 minutes. Georgian center scored 5 two-pointers of 10, 4 free throws of 5.
As we mentioned above, “Zaragoza” won for the 5th time and is in the 3rd place following the French “Graveline” (6) and German “Alba” (5). Exactly this top three will take part in the next round.
On December 10, Georgian team will play against “Virtus”, which is in the 5th place with 2 wins. This match will be held in Italy.
