The new season start of French Pro D2 turned out successful for Georgian legionaries. 2 from 18 legionaries who played for 9 clubs scored tries.
“Lyon” of Guram Kavtiridze and Vito Kolelishvili visited “Carcassonnaise” and won 52:38. The hosts scored 4 tries and the guests – 7. The both Georgian legionaries were in lineup. Kavtidze was substituted at the 49th minute. Kolelishvili played from start to finish but he was sin-binned for 10 minutes.
The hosts were winning 11:10 when Kavtidze scored try. It happened at the 35th minute. “Lyon” won the half 17:14. At the beginning of the second half the guests scored two tries and increased advantage up to 17 points. At the 58th minute Kolelishvili received yellow card. The guests gained victory and won 5 points.
“Beziers” of Beka Sheklashvili defeated “Tarbes” of Giorgi Chkhaidze, Giorgi Nemsadze and Irakli Mirtskhulava 20:19. Sheklashvili played till the 56th minute. Nemsadze played for the whole match. Chkhaidze was substituted at the 70th minute. Mirtskhulava showed up at the 61st minute but he got injured at the 76th minute and was substituted. “Beziers” won the first half 12:9. At the 51st minute Nemsadze scored a beautiful try. In spite of this, the hosts won the match and “Tarbes” earned one point.
“Agen” of Tariel Ratianidze won over “Albi” of Vakhtang Akhobadze, Khvicha Bujiashvili, Vakhtang Maisuradze, Giorgi Tetrashvili, Sandro Todua and Kakha Koberidze 17:12. Only two from the Georgian legionaries were on the list. Todua played for the whole match. Tetrashvili started playing at the 52nd minute. “Bresse” of Tamaz Mchedlidze earned only one point. The club lost to “Bourgoin” 13:18 without the Georgian.
“Aurillac” of Levan Datunashvili and Giorgi Natsarashvili beat “Narbonne” 34:23. The both Georgians were in lineup. Datunashvili played from start to finish. Natsarashvili was substituted at the 67th minute. “Auch” of Tornike Lomidze lost to “Paloise” 12:27 without the Georgian. “La Rochelle” of Lekso Kaulashvili lost to “Stade Montois” 28:31 without the Georgian. The next matches of Pro D2 will be held on 7-8 September.
