Giorgi Popkhadze Georgian defender became a free agent. Between 24-year-old Popkhadze and FC “Viborg” Denmark expired official contact, this information was spread in club’s site. When Giorgi was transferred in “Vivborg” (in summer, 2006) was playing in Supreme League of Denmark and now he is in the second league, what is due to finance crisis of “Viborg”. “Popkhadze is real good player and he was quite well power for us. He spent half and four years, but he seemed that he wanted to return in Georgian, was missing his family and friends last period. We talked and decided not to disturb Giorgi”- stated Morten Iensen the general director of “Viborg”.

“I studied a lot of things during this period which I spent here. I will remember club as well as city very well, that’s why I said good bye to everyone very sad. I will really miss acquaitances, coaches and players very much and wish them all the best”.
Where Popkhadze is going to continue his career is still unknown. Before some years the football clubs of Denmark showed interest to him and he was tested by “Sturm” Austria in this summer.
