Georgian 72nd men’s national chess championship has started at the Nona Gaprindashvili Chess Palance in Vera Park.
All leading chess players are participating in the tournament, except Georgian top seed chess player Baadur Jobava, international grandmasters Tamaz Gelashvili and Tornike Sanikidze.
The game of Mikheil Mchedlishvili and Levan Pantsulaia caused a great interest in the first round. The opponents played draw.
