Amiran Papinashvili, member of Georgian Judo Team, held the first meeting in Rio De Janeiro World Championship. The leader of world rankings in 60kg weight category was involved in the competition from 1/16 final and he defeated Turkish Ahmet Sahin Kaba with ippon.
At the 3rd minute of the meeting Papinashvili beat the opponent by waza-ari and at the 4th minute he tackled.
The Georgian will compete against German Tobias Englmayer in 1/8 final, who defeated Uzbek Diorbek Urozboev.
