The information about selling the football school "Norchi Dinamoeli" and building dwelling houses on its place has spread recently. This information became more convincing when workers appeared on the football pitches of "Norchi Dinamoeli" and started destroying doors and fences of the pitch.
"World Sport" asked Otar Shengelia, director of Ltd. "Norchi Dinamoeli", to make a comment about the mentioned information.
Otar Shengelia: "I bought "Norchi Dinamoeli" about 10 years ago. During this time, there were some people who wanted to buy our territory and to build dwelling houses there. Of course these people did not know that "Norchi Dinamoeli" is located on a recreational area which means that only one-storeyed houses are allowed to be built here. Such conditions, of course, is not acceptable for them.
- Then how can you explain appearing of workers on the "Norchi Dinamoeli" base?
- Playground refurbishment works are underway to improve the base. We are waiting for artificial grass surface from Turkey by the end of September.
- When are you going to finish base refurbishment works?
- We are planning to finish it in October this year. If something unforeseen happens and we cannot finish it in October, refurbishment works will be finished till New Year.
- How many children will train on your base?
- 400 children (age 6-17) will train on the "Norchi Dinamoeli" base. They will be divided into 10 groups.
- Where will children train during the base refurbishment works?
- When we were planning to start the base refurbishment works, of course, we were thinking not to make problems for children. Elders will train in BMK, youngsters - on the pitch next to "Dinamo" stadium. Some groups will train on "Avaza" base till the end of refurbishment works.
