If nothing unforeseen happens, "Georgian team" will move from Russian First Division to Premier League for the second time. "Volga" Nizhny Novgorod headed by Omar Tetradze where Otar Martsvaladze, Gocha Khojava, Edik Sajaia and Giorgi Navalovski are playing, is in the 2nd place before the end of the championship. Mentioned Georgian players played a great role in returning "Anzhi" to Premier League. Martsvaladze scored 13 goals and became top scorer of Dagestan. Also he is a top scorer of "Volga". He scored 16 goals. Martsvaladze is only one goal behind of Spartak Gogniev ("Krasnodar").
"World Sport" contacted Martsvaladze in Russia. Besides of club news, of course, we asked him why he could not arrive in Georgia. Though, Temur Ketsbaia called him up for the national team.
- "Volga" would not find it difficult to move to Premier League, would it?
- We started the second circle successfully but the situation is tense and we hope, everything will be decided in favor of us.
- At what expense does your team achieve success?
- New players played in the first circle and players needed time to get to know each other. We played better in the second circle and also, head coach played a great role in it.
- You are top scorer and of course, you are considered as a leading player of "Volga". Are other Georgian players considered as leaders?
- It is unimaginable that Georgian is not leader in the team.
- When was it difficult for you to play in First League - in last season or in current one?
- I cannot say that it was more difficult in last season than now. There is not much difference. Now I just know how the team plays and maybe it is easier.
- Are Georgian players going to leave "Volga" in case of moving to Premier League, like you did in "Anzhi"?
- My contract with "Volga" expires at the end of the season. Then I will return to "Anzhi". If "Volga" decides to take me on loan again, I might stay there.
- Everyone wants to know why you could not manage to arrive in Georgia when Temur Ketsbaia called you up for the national team?
- Many people say that it must not be problem for me. Some people think that I am betrayer. I have visa problem. Perhaps, if I arrived in Georgia, I would not able to go back to Russia during three months. This problem will be solved soon.

- Till the end of this year.
- Did you talk to Temur Ketsbaia about this issue?
- I have not talked to Ketsbaia. But I hope, he will call me up again. Maybe, he will give me another chance, especially if we move to Premier League.
