There was big resonance after fight between Georgian professional boxer Avtandil Khurtsidze and Hasan Ndam Njikam of Cameroon in Paris. According to WBA, Cameroonian boxer won championship belt, this fact caused big disappointment in boxing societies. “Tornado” so called Georgian sportsman was competing better than his opponent but referees decided in other way. Ukrainian promoting company which protects Kurtsidze’s interests, complained the result and demands holding a rematch.  “World Sport” got an interview from Kurtsidze yesterday.
Avtandil Kurtsidze:It is a bit difficult to make some comment. If we discus the match, I won it. Such people say it that it is impossible to have any doubt in it. Everyone says that they specially took away championship belt from me. Hasan was a host and that’s why I was oppressed. Even the president of Cameroon arrived in France for supporting Hasan. U would win with knock down in other case point would be counted on his favor. 
- But you could not knock him out. Did he show strong resistance?
- I knew almost everything about Hasan. He is very strong boxer and after fighting against him I ensured once again that I can get World Champion. I promise to fans that will bring championship belt in Georgia.
- You met referees’ decision with smile…
- To tell the truth, I was shocked. I could not imagine that after such fight I would be announced as a looser. Even spectators who were fro Hasan at the beginning of the fight and screaming his name complained referees’ decision by whistling. Spectators and specialists, all of them say that I was really oppressed. I stayed in Paris for two days and while visiting the city a lot of strangers said that referees’ decision was unfair.  
- As far as we know your promoter complained this decision. What was the reason?
-  There were some serious fouls. 2-3 rounds were finished earlier than they hat to be finished. After fight it is compulsory to make doping test, but this procedure was not made. They even did not say reason of it. My representative Levan Jorbenadze came to supervisor and complained it. My representatives will come back in Kiev on Monday.
- Have you watched video record of this fight?
- Sure, I have. Specialists discussed each detail. They count scores and all of them say that I would win in any case. I have watched the report which was broadcasted on Georgian TV channel. Unfortunately they do not know professional box. It is a pity that, Hasan does not know Georgian or these comments would make glad him. 3-4 rounds were equal and in others I had advantages. Never mind. A New important stage started in my career.
- Hasan trains in France and that’s why he had strong support. Unexpected was Georgian fans who were passive.
- I also got very surprised. I got used their support. No matter wherever I fight, there are Georgians. 50 supporters came from Ukraine and I hoped that Georgians would join them, but only two Georgians came. I felt lack of Georgians. My promoters had preliminary meetings with Georgian Diaspora. In a result of these negotiations there was Georgian National dancing before fight. I was shocked when before dancing I said something in Georgian to dancer and he did not understood what I had said.  I thought how he had to dance national dance even does not know Georgian, be he did everything perfect.
- After this fight, your way to championship was complicated and Hasan’s one became easier…
- The situation is not so tragic. Hasan meets leader of the rating Kazakh Gneday Golovkiny. The winner in this couple will fight against me. This was not written anywhere yet, but it will be so. The first fight will be held in February and the second one in April or in May.
- You prefer to fight against Hasan and take revenge on him…
- There is no importance, who will be my opponent. Hasan will win but he has to overcome psychological resistance which he got with me.Before my fight he had won over most opponents with knock out. But he lost self-confidence with me.
-  When you hold the next fight and who will be your opponent?
- I will have one fight in any case before Hasan-Golovkiny, I will know the details in month. My promoters want Tbilisi to host next fight. In such cay I will be the happiest man.
