"Olimpi" Became Leader

 

“Olimpi” Rustavi hosted “Wit Georgia” Tbilisi in the first round of the 3rd circle and won 2:1. Davit Bolkvadze advanced “Olimpi” at the 22nd minute. But after 3 minutes, Besik Chimakadze (“Wit Georgia”) equalized the score. Irakli Modebadze, one of the top scorers of the championship, scored a decisive goal at the 72nd minute.

“Baia” beat “Sioni” Bolnisi in Zugdidi. Irakli Kobalia scored the only goal of the match at the 31st minute – 1:0. After this victory, the team of Elguja Kometiani is in the 4th place.

Another match of the round will be held in Tbilisi. “Dinamo” will host “Spartaki” Tskhinvali at Boris Paichadze national stadium.

After 4 rounds two outsider clubs fall down in first league in XXIII Championship. An the club which will win the 8th place will play against the third place-owner and in case of win will remain in the first league.
Clubs which will take the 16th and the 17th places will leave First League. These clubs will be replaced by winners in West and East zones of Second League.'
