Official statement why the national team left for Israel without Gogita Gogua will be made on Monday. Tatia Burduli, assistant of president of Georgian Football Federation, told “World Sport”” that she would contact Nika Chkheidze, technical director of the federation, on Monday. After that, either Burduli or Chkheidze will make official statement.
“I will try to satisfy interest of fans as soon as possible. The team left for Israel yesterday. I will contact Mr. Nika tomorrow and after that one of us will make official statement about the mentioned issue. Perhaps, Temur Ketsbaia will talk about it at the press conference before the match” – stated Burduli.
Yesterday morning, the team of Ketsbaia trained at the national stadium and according to the unofficial information, Gogita Gogua and the head coach had argued about something.
On March 26, Gogua started playing against Croatia at the 73rd minute. He will not be able to help the team in Israel for unknown reason.
