Georgian National Rugby Team in weekly rating of the world before November testing keeps the 17th place and we hope after it our team will return the13rd place.
Retreat of Georgian National Team caused lost match with Namibia in IRB “Nations Cup” which was held in Bucharest. Whole summer, changes of rating touched only clubs which were participating in “Three Nations Cup”. Now this tournament finished and will summarize final results.
In the final round of “Three Nations Cup” New Zealand beat Australia and became leader of the rating. South Africa became champion, Australia gathered 1,15 points, New Zealand 3,09 and is a leader of the rating with 94,77 points.
Australia and New Zealand meets each other in October in Tokyo and as for us we are waiting for test matches. According to preliminary results, that Canada and the USA teams will arrive in Tbilisi. Canadians arrive on November 20 and Americans on November 27. Georgian team has chance of revenge in both these matches and they will play with the strongest staff. At “The Churchill Cup” Georgian team lost matches against those countries.
There was version that on November 13 Tonga National team arrive in Tbilisi. Georgian team could not gather strong staff for this match that’s why this match was delayed.
