Georgian free style wrestlers did not succeed at international tournament named after Aleksandr Medved which was underway in the capital of Belarus, Minsk. According to decision of Georgian wrestling federation and council of coaches Georgian National Team was not represented by its leader at this tournament. 10 candidates of National Team wrestled and none of them succeeded.
On March 5 champions and prize winners were found out in 84, 96 and 120 weight categories. Archil Kitiashvili, Irakli Marsagishvili (both of them 84 kg), Leri Ketishvili (96 kg) and Giorgi Sakandelidze (120 kg) represented Georgia. None of wrestling web-sites spread any kind of information about participants and fights of this tournament, only results are known and according to it none of Georgian participants succeeded.
On March 19-20 Georgian free style wrestlers are to wrestle at World Cup in Makhachkala.
