New Memorandum in Presence of Honorary Guests

Georgian National Olympic Committee and pharmaceutical company “Aversi” signed a new memorandum. Today, Gia Natsvlishvili, president of Olympic Committee, and Paata Kurtanidze, head of “Aversi”, signed the agreement at “Sheraton” hotel. Marius Vizer, president of International Judo Federation, and Giorgi Aleksidze, acting president of Georgian Judo Federation, attended the ceremony. Current and veteran titled sportsmen showed up in the hall.

“We signed the same agreement with Olympic Committee in 2009 and we still continue our collaboration. Current and veteran sportsmen will have free medical service at “Aversi” hospital. I am glad that we are bringing our contribution to the development of Georgian sport” – stated Paata Kurtanidze.

Gia Natsvlishvili mentioned that “Aversi” had already served some sportsmen. He also added it is pleasant that “Aversi” did not forget about veterans and thanked Kurtanidze. President of Olympic Committee also thanked the guests:

“Marius Vizer supports Georgian judo and entirely, Georgian sport. In 2009, we won a right to host European Championship thanks to him. Several weeks ago, while choosing host city of Youth Olympic Festival 2015, Vizer supported Tbilisi”.

Vizer made a short comment at the end of the press conference:

“It is pleasant to attend such meeting. This is unique agreement and I can only thank the company which respects sport so much. It is a great honor for me to see so many titled sportsmen together. Napoleon said who does not appreciate history he does not have future. History is really appreciated in your country”.
