Nodar Metreveli, heavyweight judoka of Georgian judo team, lost in the first circle of Tokyo Grand Slam. Japanese Masaru Momose beat him by ippon at the 3rd minute.
In the second circle, Momose won over Kazuhiko Takahashi. Also he beat Cuban Oscar Brayson and will wrestle against German Andreas Toelzer in the semifinal.
Korean Sung-Min Kim and Japanese Daiki Kamikawa will wrestle against each other for the final. Sung-Min Kim beat No.1 seed judoka of the tournament Egyptian El Shehaby.

Today, winners will be found out in 100 kg. Georgian team does not have participant in this weight class. Here are the semifinal pairings:
