The final round of World Judo Championship will be held without members of Georgian team. Zaza Kedelashvili (73 kg) and Nugzar Tatalashvili won only 2-2 matches. They lost the 1/8 final and finished participation in the championship.
Kedelashvili could not win over Azat Kubakaev of Kyrgyzstan. Kubakaev defeated a 3-time European champion (66 kg) by waza-ari and penalty. The main time finished draw - both judokas have one waza-ari and one yuko. In the added time, referee gave Georgian judoka another penalty and declared Kyrgyz as a winner. Before this match Zaza Kedelashvili beat Algerian Mustafa Bulemia and South Korean Gi-Man Bang by ippones.
At first Tatalashvili defeated Zeiad Mater of Yemen. Then he easily beat Czech Yaromir Jezek but he lost against Hirouk Akimoto of Japan at the 4th minute.
The decisive matches of men (73 kg) and women (57 kg and 63 kg) will be held at 12:30 Tbilisi time.
