Young Georgian rugby player Zaza Navrozashvili is holding the second season in “Bordeaux” of France but he showed up in the first team for the first time.
“Bordeaux” visited Italy in the second round of “Amlin Challenge Cup” and defeated “Mogliano” 32:20 in front of 1400 spectators. The 21-year-old Georgian was in lineup and played for 61 minutes. “Bordeaux” lost the first match and needed victory.
The French team won the half 13:3 but was scored try-conversion at the beginning of the second half. Soon “Bordeaux” scored the second try but at the 57th minute the difference became minimum. At the 65th minute “Mogliano” advanced 20:18. In the last 12 minutes “Bordeaux” scored two gries and won 32:20. “Bordeaux” is in the 3rd place with 5 points in II Group. The team is 3 points behind leader “Bath”. On 6 December “Bordeaux” will play “Newport” in Wales.
In III Group “Brive” of Goderdzi Shvelidze and Karlen Aseishvili beat “Newcastle” of England 23:16. Shvelidze is injured and Aseishvili was not on the list. The score was 16:16 by the 67th minute. Then, the French team scored try-conversion and gained the first victory at this tournament. “Brive” has 6 points and is in the first place. On 7 December “Brive” will face “Bucuresti” in Romania.
The Romanians hosted Italian “Calvisano” and won 37:15. Otar Turashvili was in lineup of “Bucuresti” and played for 77 minutes. He is a citizen of Romania and plays for its national team. After half hour the score was 12:12 but at the 38th minute the hosts scored try and advanced 17:12. The Italians were scored two tries in the second half. “Bucuresti” has 5 points and is in the second place.
In V Group “Stade Francais” of Davit Kubriashvili and Zurab Zhvania visited “Cavalieri Prato” in Italy without Georgian legionaries and won the match. At the 23rd minute the score was 0:0. The hosts received red card and lacked one player for an hour. Besides that, they were sin-binned three times.
“Stade Francais” is in the second place with 9 points. On 8 December it will face “London Irish” in England.
