Irakli Natriashvili, hooker of Georgian rugby national team, made an operation on his shoulder, he is going through the recovery process and after this he will try to continue his career as a “Medical Joker” in France.
Recently, there were talks that former rugby player of “Brive” was going to play for “Federal 1”, French half professional team ranked as 3rd, but when his last name was not in any of clubs list “World Sport” got in touch with him.
“I know, that my name was linked with several teams of “Federal 1”, but this is not true. At the end of last season, when I hold the last match in “Brive”, I injured my shoulder. I made an operation in July. The recovery process needs approximately 6 months, so I will not play again 4 months. But I will continue practicing in a month. Now I am in Brive and I am undergoing a medical treatment, but I am without a team yet. I hope, I will recover soon and join the French club with a status of “Medical joker”, - said Natriashvili.
After years spent in Romania, Natrishvili returned for some time to Georgian and was defending the honor of “Armia” Tbilisi and in 2011 he joined “Brive” of Top 14. He held 20 matches in Fisrst Elite Division of France and participated in 5 matches of “Challenge Cup”, 2nd European club tournament. Last season, his team took part in Pro D2, 2nd Elite Division and Irakli scored 3 tries in 23 games. But finally, he injured and stayed without team. His debut in Georgian team was in 2006, after this he gained 39 caps and scored 4 tries.
