This evening it was found out that Mate Vatsadze, forward of “Volga” Nizhny Novgorod, will not be able to help Georgian national football team in Euro qualifying matches against Croatia and Israel. Vatsadze has visa problems and he cannot arrive in his homeland now.

Temur Ketsbaia, head coach of the national team, called up Irakli Modebadze, forward of “Olimpi” Rustavi, instead of Vatsadze.

Modebadze has played for the national team only once. It was a friendly match against Slovenia (2:1). He played for friendly matches of “The Lelos” when Klaus Toppmoller was coaching the team.
