According to the decision of the coaching staff of the Georgian national basketball team, all 15 basketball players (Zaza Pachulia, Tornike Shengelia, Giorgi Tsintsadze, Viktor Sanikidze, Levan Patsatsia, Nika Metreveli, Beka Tsivtsivadze, Mikheil Chochua, Mikheil Berishvili, Duda Sanadze, Oto Pkhakadze, Beka Burjanadze, Giorgi Sharabidze, Giorgi Shermadini, Beso Lejava) will be in the team till the end of the qualifying tournament. Assistant coach Kote Tugushi told “World Sport”.

This decision was made because Shermadini will be able to help “Crusaders” from the second round. As for Manuchar Markoishvili and naturalized Ricky Hickman, they cannot play in the qualifying games.

On August 10 Georgia will play Czech Republic in EuroBasket qualifying round.
