Six rounds have been held at current Georgian Championship. Only two matches finished with three and more balls difference. A 2-ball handicap was occurred 6 times. Other 22 matches finished draw or with one ball difference.
Let us review briefly what we should expect in the next round.
Georgian Championship. Supreme League. VII round
24. 09. 16:00 Bolnisi. "Tamaz Stepania".
Sioni (Bolnisi) - Dinamo (Tbilisi)
Referees: A. Nonikashvili; D. Chigogidze, K. Tepnadze; D. Kharitonashvili.
Disqualified: Giorgi Kipiani (head coach of "Sioni"), Davit Aslanadze (goalkeepers' coach of "Sioni").
After recovering from injury Mate Vatsadze returned to "Dinamo". A 22-year-old forward can play now. Vatsadze often score goals against "Sioni". "Dinamo" bought Irakli Liluashvili, Givi Kvaratskhelia and Davit Mujiri. Team of Kakha Kacharava seems to fight for the championship this year. In the previous round "Sioni" got angry when they could not keep a 2-ball handicap in Zugdidi and the match finished draw. "Sioni" has not won a match at home, though, they have not lost yet. Still draw? It is obvious that the guests will not agree with it. Supposedly, even "Sioni" will not celebrate one point.
24. 09. 16:00. Samtredia. "Erosi Manjgaladze".
Samtredia - Zestaponi
Referees: L. Silagava; B. Chichinadze, K. Gabriadze; I. Urushadze.
Disqualified: Paata Bakarandze ("Samtredia").
"Zestaponi" won all 4 matches over "Samtredia" in the previous season. But we are far away from the idea that "Zestaponi" will gain 3 points again. Team of Gia Geguchadze cannot play well away. "Samtredia" proved that it is not a bad team when they lost only 2:3 against "Dinamo" in the last round.
Grass surface is being changed in Zestaponi. The team was preparing in Tbilisi. All players of Geguchadze can play well and they will play only for 3 points. In short, this match seems interesting.
24. 09. 16:00. Rustavi. "Poladi".
Wit Georgia (Tbilisi) - Torpedo (Kutaisi)
Referees: G. Vadachkoria; Z. Menteshashvili, D. Kurtanidze; J. Khorava.
Nestor Mumladze, disfavor of Kutaisi fans, will try to torment his former club. "Wit Georgia" became a champion of Georgia in 2009 when Mumladze was playing for this club. He has no good result in "Torpedo". The club has not won even one match in this season. "Torpedo" owned by "Vissol" is in the last place. After losing against "Sioni", fans of "Torpedo" gathered at the stadium and they demanded an answer from Mumladze. Fans also abused him.
Coach of "Torpedo" had maximum a 3-match credit of trust. I cannot say what will be a good result for "Torpedo" against "Wit Georgia". According to the situation, draw should be fine but "Jungles" (name of fan-club) of "Torpedo" are demanding victory.
"Wit Georgia" is in the fourth place. Many players left the club and if winning the championship is not motto of "Wit Georgia", they should not be condemned. Veterinaries have a new staff as it often happens. But so many players have never left the club like it happened in this summer.
25. 09. 16:00. Poti. "Pazisi".
Kolkheti (Poti) - Olimpi (Rustavi)
Referees: T. Gvantseladze; Z. Pipia, Z. Jvaridze; G. Kikacheishvili.
Traditionally, "Olimpi" is trying not to lose against the teams which are in the last places of the tournament. Temur Makharadze likes to make such comments after match: "It was a difficult match". His club did not find it hard to win in last rounds.
"Olimpi" is becoming stronger from round to round. It is logical: it is a newly formed club and Makharadze is a professional coach.
25. 09. 16:00. Zugdidi. "Gulia Tutberidze".
Baia (Zugdidi) - Spartaki (Tskhinvali)
Referees: M. Beuklishvili; L. Mikeladze, I. Kakabadze; Kh. Gagnidze.
Disqualified: Roin Oniani ("Baia").
Of course, "Baia" is favorite. First, "Baia" is better club than "Spartaki" and second, "Baia" will play at home. "Spartaki" won only one match with a big difference (against Sioni 3:0). But other matches were unsuccessful. They have not gained one point or scored a goal in away matches. But we should mention the teams they played against - "Zestaponi" (0:4), "Olimpi" (0:2) and "Dinamo".
Roin Oniani is a great loss for "Baia" but we still think that "Spartaki" will find it difficult to win in Samegrelo region.

After 4 rounds two outsider clubs fall down in first league in XXIII Championship. An the club which will win the 8th place will play against the third place-owner and in case of win will remain in the first league.
