Match of old opponents justified our expectation. The 45th match of "Dinamo"-"Torpedo" was lack of spectators. Today, they are far from their best results. Though, Georgian "clasico" was always important.
"Torpedo" had territorial advantage in the first half and they could have scored goals. Midfielders (Chkhetiani, Tarkhnishvili) were strengthening Kvaratskhelia. Gvelesiani and Tomashvili played against Kvaratskhelia for the high balls. As for playing with foot, it has never been "trump" of Kvaratskhelia and December 12 was not exception.
At the 20th minute, Givi Chkhetiani assisted Datunaishvili who shot the ball in the penalty area. Tarkhnishvili kicked the ball toward the goal of Loria but he parried it.
Soon after Kvaratskhelia attacked "Dinamo" but his ball was easy for goalkeeper to parry it. At the 29th minute, there were two episodes which will be discussed by refereeing department. A foul was committed against Kvaratskhelia near the penalty area of "Dinamo" but referee did not think that it was foul. "Dinamo" kicked the ball in the half of "Torpedo" where Metreveli had a chance to score a goal. He tried to kick toward the goal but after the fall of Parulava he was on the ground. It was obvious that first Parulava threw the ball and then he committed foul against the forward.
"Torpedo" had advantage till the end of the half. Their attacks reached the culmination at the 34th minute when Tengiz Chikviladze won a right to take a free kick. His free kick was about to get in the goal of "Dinamo" but Loria reached the ball and threw it on the corner. Added time of Gagnidze was expiring when after "standard" of Digmelashvili, Kvaratskhelia shot the ball with head - the goalkeeper did not let the ball cross the line.
In the second half the teams looked different. Now "Dinamo" played more actively than "Torpedo". In case of need, there was not a player who could take the ball from wing to wing. The guests did not make long assists and entirely, they looked tired.
As for goal, Mujiri ("Mumu") scored it with a free kick from a long distance at the 57th minute - 1:0.
Davit Mujiri took a place in the history of Georgian "clasico" with this goal. "Mumu" scored the first goal in the match between "Torpedo" and "Dinamo" on September 17, 1995. On that day, "Dinamo" won 5:1 at Boris Paichadze stadium. Such big interval (15 years) between the first and the last goals will not be overcome for a long time.
After the scored goal, Mujiri was in the center of attention once again. After his assist, Zviad Metreveli was face to face the guest goalkeeper. The forward could not use this chance because Migineishvili won over him. When Metreveli left the pitch, "Mumu" played in attacks. "Dinamo" finished the match without forward and finally, won it.

Giorgi Gigatadze (head coach of "Torpedo"): "It was a tense match. The teams fought. Unfortunately, "Dinamo" used its chance and won. After the goal, our opponent did not give in positions".
Tamaz Samkharadze (acting head coach of "Dinamo"): "Perhaps, you noticed that we played two different halves. Our opponent had advantage in the first one and we had advantage in the second one. One goal could decide the fate of the match. "Torpedo" could have scored this goal but fortunately, we scored it and won".
