The Georgian and the Russian judo teams will wrestle in final of World Championship which is under way in Brazil. The team of Irakli Uznadze defeated France (3:2), Mongolia (4:1) and Uzbekistan 4:1.

Like the previous rounds, the opponent of the Georgians advanced in 66 kg. Lasha Shavdatuashvili lost to Rishod Sobirov. Nugzar Tatalashvili (73 kg) beat Mirali Sharipov and equalized score. Avtandil Chrikishvili (81 kg) won over Yakhyo Imamov in two minutes and Varlam Liparteliani defeated Erkin Doniyorov.

Heavyweight Adam Okruashvili wrestled brilliantly and won over Kurbanov.

Russia beat Colombia (5:0), Cuba (5:0) and South Korea (4:1).

The final of World Team Championship starts at 23:00 Tbilisi time and GMG will broadcast live. Website www.ippon.tv will also broadcast live.
