Amiran Papinashvili (60kg), champion of Europe, reached the semifinal of World Championship. The Georgian judoka won a clean victory over Askhat Telmanov in the ¼ final.
Papinashvili was losing Yuko for some time, but then he gained Yuko and Waza-ari. And at the 4th minute he put Telmanova on shoulders with a beautiful throw.
Mongolian Amartuvshin Dashdavaa will be the opponent of the Georgian judoka in the semifinal.
