Georgian Rugby Team called “Momavlis Sakartvelo” held the first test-match and beat quite strong British Army at Kingsholm Stadium in Britain 30:17.

According to the preliminary decision Georgian A Team had to participate in this tournament but desirable staff could not be gathered and experimental team which can be called Emerging Lelos left for Britain.
Levan Maisashvili head coach of National Team added Vito Kolelishvili, Irakli Chkhikvadze and Jaba Bregvadze who played against Russian National Team in Sochi. As a result there was desirable result in the first match.
Georgians won the first half against British Army 20:0, hosts activated in the second match but in spite of this Georgians won this match easily.
Georgian National Team scored 4 tries. Karlen Aseishvili scored two tries and Giorgi Shkinin and Jaba Bregvadze scored rested tries. Irakli Kaisashvili realized twice and scored two penalty kicks and as a result they gathered 30 points.
It is worth mentioning that it is the first loose for the host this year. In January British Army won over Cambrige University Team 34:8 and in February Oxford University (24:8).
Georgian team plays against Oxford Universities on March 28 at 23:15 Tbilisi time. The match takes place at “Apple Road”, official sponsor of this match is well-known BP.
