Georgian tennis player Aleksandre Metreveli celebrated the second victory at the Shymkent tournament (Kazakhstan, 10 000 USD).

Metreveli beat No.5 seed Denis Yevseyev of Russia 6:2, 6:2 and made through to ¼ final where he will play Andrei Plotniy of Russia.

Giorgi Javakhishvili was losing to Alexander Lazov of Bulgaria 2:6, 0:3 when he retired.
