Georgian forward Nika Metreveli joined “Roseto Sharks” (Italian 3rd League). Official website of the club announced about this and also wrote the comment of Metreveli.
“I knew that everybody had serious purposes in Roseto and the fans are also very devoted. I will try to do my best, however I can play in several positions.
I know Luca Biskonti and Antonello Ricci from the composition. I played with Antonello in Naples, however, for a while, because he soon moved to Reggio Calabria.
If everything goes according to plan, I will fit t-shirt of “Roseto” on December 22, Sunday against “Bauer Matera”. However, there are still some unresolved formalities” – said Metreveli.
For instance, “Sharks” have 6-6 wins-defeats and occupies the 10th place among 16 teams.
Recall that in the current season Metreveli played for “Sokhumi” and in 7 matches held in Georgian Championship gained averaging 12.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
It should be also said that Georgian forward has a lot of experience of playing in Italian clubs. He previously played for “Ferentino”, “Dinamo Sassari”, “Napoli”, “Pafini Omena”, “Rimin” and “Montepasci”.
