17-year-old Georgian tennis player Aleksandre Metreveli won another match at the tournament which is underway in the city of France, Istres. Metreveli won a right to play in semifinal. He beat Czech Marek Routa in ¼ final of Open d'Istres Ouest Provence 2011 – 6:3, 6:4. In semifinal, Aleksandre will play against No.7 seed Serbian Jankovic.
French Couacaud and Portuguese Silva will play in the second semifinal.
In doubles tournament, No.4 seed duet of Metreveli and Japanese Kishi will play against German-Polish duet (Elias-Smola) in semifinal.
Metreveli has 276.25 points and is in the 91st place in ranking.
