Georgian Aleksandre Metreveli and Denis Yevseyev of Kazakhstan made through to the final of the Astana tournament (10 000 USD) but unfortunately, lost.

Metreveli and Yevseyev beat the Uzbeks 6:0, 7:5. In ¼ final the Italians did not show up to play them. In semifinal the Georgia and the Kazakh defeated the Slovaks 7:6 (7:5), 1:6, 10:7. In the final they lost to the Belarusians 3:6, 6:3, 10:12.

In doubles draw Giorgi Javakhishvili and Shonigmatjon Shofayziyev of Uzbekistan lost to Kirill Dmitriev and Timur Khabibulin of Kazakhstan 4:6, 7:6 (7:5), 6:10.

In singles draw Metreveli lost to Vitaliy Kachanovskiy of Russia 3:6, 4:6. Javakhishvili lost to Edoardo Eremin of Italy 1:6, 4:6.
