“Metallurg” Rustavi held a press conference where the Turkish meeting was reviewed and new players were presented. Giorgi Kipiani, coach of “Metallurg”, mentioned he was satisfied with the meeting. “Metallurg” will try to achieve success at Georgian Cup.

“The meeting turned out productive. We used different schemes in the practice and matches. We held experiments. We must improve our conditions. I am satisfied with the preparation process”.

There were problems: For example, experienced Levan Korgalidze could not play in Turkey. His knee hurts and he will be able to play in one month. Before that, he will practice with the team. Also, Giorgi Mikaberidze cannot practice with the team.

“We have four new players and I believe they will be useful for the team. Perhaps, we will add another football player. We have experienced and inexperienced football players. So, we keep balance”, - stated Kipiani.

Kakha Kopaleishvili, sports director of “Metallurg”, presented new players with their jerseys: 21. Goalkeeper Mikheil Alavidze; 10. Midfielder Levan Korgalidze; 33. Midfielder Gogi Pipia; 9. Forward Roman Akhalkatsi.

Besides this, “Metallurg” advanced three football players from the reserve team: Dachi Tsnobiladze, Davit Sajaia and Ivane Khabelashvili.
