After 3 days the Georgian team has four medals at World Cadets Championship in Miami. Tamaz Kirakozashvili (73 kg) won silver medal today.

The Georgian finalist won 6 fights on the American tatami. Kirakozashvili defeated Rezo Mesablishvili of Ukraine, Jesus Rivas of Venezuela, Oskar Tvauri of Finland and Kevin Bakker of Holland by waza-ari and two yukos. In semifinal the Georgian won over Ruslan Godizov of Russia. In final Kirakozashvili lost to Zaur Ramazanov of Russia.  

On 10 August Ieso Kvirikashvili (81 kg) and Khatia Janashvili (63 kg) wrestled and both of them lost in the first round. After beating Elaman Abdikerimov of Kyrgyzstan, Kvirikashvili lost to Turpal Tepkaev of Russia. Janashvili could do nothing against Brigitte Carabali of Colombia.

On the last day of the championship – on 11 August champions and prize winners will be found out in male and female’s 2-2 weight categories. Only Davit Ramazashvili (90 kg) will wrestle in the name of Georgia.
