“Pakhtakor” Tashkent of Kakha Makharadze lost to “Al Shabab” of the United Arab Emirates 1:2 at the group stage of AFC Champions League.
Makharadze had a chance of becoming hero but finally, he became antihero.
“Al Shabab” advanced at the first minute. Makharadze scored penalty at the 19th minute. At the 64th minute after a free kick of the guests the ball touched the head of the Georgian midfielder and got in the net of “Pakhtakor”. The score became 1:2. “Pakhtakor” had 7 points and took the last place in the group. “Al Shabab” took the second place with 9 points and it will play in 1/8 final.
