Davit Marsagishvili (84kg), member of Georgian freestyle wrestling team, started participation from the second round and defeated Dominic Klaus Peter of Austria. The Georgian is through to ¼ final. European champion Marsagishvili earned 14 points in two periods. In the first period Marsagishvili gained point in 43 seconds and in the second one – in 50 seconds.

In ¼ final the Georgian will wrestle against winner between Marco Riesen of Switzerland and Andrei Frant of Romania.
