CSKA of Manuchar Markoishvili won over “Panathinaikos” in the last minutes in semifinal of Nikos Galis Cup. In final lost itself in the last minutes against “Aris” Thessaloniki.

Thanks to the Georgian defender the Russian grand was very close to become the champion of Fourth Tournament. Markoishvili gained 5 points in the last minute and promoted the team with 59:58, however Pasalich scored 0.2 seconds before the final whistle and left the Cup in Thessaloniki – 60:59.

Manuchar was in lineup again and gained 10 points and 4 rebounds.

On September 23-26 CSKA will play at “Gloria Cup” in Istanbul, in which 6 teams will take part. In “A” group – Turkish “Efes”, Greek “Olympiacos” and Spanish “Unicaja” takes part and in “B” group – CSKA, Turkish “Fenerbahce” and Serbian “Crvena Zvezda”.

The team of Markoishvili will face “Crvena Zvezda” on September 23, on 25 – “Fenerbahce” and on September 26 will fight for the 5^th, 3^rd or the 1^st places.
