Manuchar Markoishvili won gold medal of the Turkish Championship. “Galatasaray” of the 26-year-old Georgian defender won the final series over “Banvit” 4:1. The club won the championship for the fifth time.
“Galatasaray” won the last game 76:58. Markoishvili earned 7 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 20:13 minutes. Manuchar scored 1 from 2 2-point, 1 from 4 3-point and both two free throws. He received 3 personal fouls.
Cenk Akyol earned 22 points, Boniface N’Dong – 16 points, Carlos Arroyo – 15 points and 8 assists.
This gold medal is the 5th for Markoishvili. Before that, he has won Georgian, Italian, Ukrainian and Slovenian Championships.
