“Galatasaray” of Manuchar Markoishvili won the third game (72:71) over “Banvit” at the Turkish Championship and is one win from gold medals. The Georgian guard played a key role in this victory.

“Manu” was in lineup and played for the most time – 31:05 minutes. One of the leaders of the Georgian national team scored 2 from 5 2-point and 2 from 7 3-point. He earned 10 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.

The Georgian had no turnover and received no foul. Besides Markoishvili, Carlos Arroyo (15 points) and Ender Arslan (10 points) distinguished themselves from “Gala”.

“Galatasaray” was losing for the whole game but in the last quarter the club played a good game and did not give a chance to “Banvit”.

On June 12 “Galatasaray” will hold another game and in case of victory, the club will win the Turkish Championship.
