Iakob Makarashvili, member of the Georgian freestyle wrestling team, will wrestle for bronze medal at World Championship. In the second round the Georgian wrestler (74 kg) lost to Ezzatollah Akbari of Iran. The Iranian made through to final. So, Makarashvili wrestled in repechage.

In repechage Iakob Makarashvili defeated Alexandru Burca of Moldova, Yunierki Blanco of Cuba and Sosuke Takatani of Japan. In “bronze final” the Georgian will face Rashid Kurbanov of Uzbekistan.

The final block will start at 21:00 Tbilisi time.
